Wrap up Web Email Mailbox Setup & Configuration
The settings below can be applied to any Email application you wish to use to pick up your Wrap up Web Email Mailbox.
Specific instructions are provided for most common email applications such as Android Phone, Apple Mac Mail, iPhone/iPad, Microsoft Outlook, Gmail and Mozilla Thunderbird.
Let’s use a made up Email Mailbox account to demonstrate
Domain name: mybusiness.co.uk
Email Mailbox Username: customer@mybusiness.co.uk
Email Mailbox Password: 12345
IMPORTANT: To be able to both send(Outgoing Server) AND receive(Incoming Server) emails, don’t forget to configure both the Incoming and Outgoing server settings.

Select ‘Use same settings as my incoming mail server’
Press OK then press the Test Connection button.
You should get 2 green ticks.

If using POP/POP3 decide whether you want to leave a copy of the messages on the server and for how long.
We do not recommend leaving them indefinitely.
Outlook IMAP account Trash, Junk or Sent folders not showing (Outlook 2013)
- Click on File Tab
- Then Click on account setting
- Double click on the IMAP account
- Click on More Settings… Button
- Click the ‘Advanced’ Tab.
- Under Folder : Root Folder Path : Type the words “Inbox”
- Press OK
Outlook IMAP deleted items not appearing in Trash folder (Outlook 2013)
- Click on File Tab
- Then Click on account setting
- Double click on the IMAP account
- Click on ‘More Settings…’ Button
- There will be three tabs on you dialog box. Click on the ‘Deleted Items’ Tab
- Select the “Trash” folder
- Press OK
Outlook certificate Warning message (Outlook 2013)
This message can come up if you are using a Secure SSL connection to connect to your mail incoming/outgoing server
“The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified. The target principal name is incorrect.”
Check your incoming and outgoing mail server names are set correctly as above
Outlook not opening(hanging blue window)
Try the following
- Run Outlook as Administrator: Right Click over the outlook Shortcut/icon and click ‘Run as Administrator’
- Open Outlook in Safe Mode: Right click over the Windows Icon bottom left and select Run then type in ‘outlook.exe /safe’ (remember the space after ..exe) then press OK.
- Delete an email account that may be corrupted: Right click over the Windows Icon bottom left and select Control Panel, Search ‘mail’, Click the link ‘Mail(Microsoft Outlook 2016) (32-bit)’ – or something similar, Click ‘E-mail Accounts’ button, remove the account that might be causing problem, you can also remove the data file of still found after the account removal.
