Paypal Standard – Setup

STEP 1 – Provide us with your Paypal Business Account username email address

This is the email address you used to set up your business paypal account

STEP 2 – Generate your API Signature Credentials using your Business PayPal Account

 

  1. Login to your Paypal Business Account
  2. Select Profile/Business Set-up
  3. Expand Option B
  4. Click ‘Set up API access when you’re ready to go live.’
  5. Under the Heading ‘NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic)’ click ‘Manage API credentials’
  6. Security verification will be required at this point eg Mobile phone code or phone call
  7. When through verification select ‘Request an API signature’
  8. Press ‘Agree and Submit’ button
  9. Press the Show link to show each
  10. Record the API Username, Password and Signature
  11. Place the relevant API Username, Password and Signature in the WooCommerce Checkout settings for PayPal Standard under the heading ‘API Credentials’ or send them to Wrap up Web and we will insert them for you.
