It is imperative an eCommerce website shop is fully tested by a client before going live to the public
To enable testing, Wrap up Web provide a test Paypal Sandbox Seller Account and test Paypal Sandbox Buyer account that can be used instead of a live Paypal account and real money.
Typical tasks that should be tested are..
- Purchasing
- Cancelling an order
- Refunds
Test Buyer
The tester Buyer purchases products on the website and receives emails at various stages of the purchase.
The email address used to receive these emails will be agreed between the client and Wrap up Web
The Test Buyer account has lots of (not real) “money” in it to make purchases to test your website.
When it comes to making a purchase and pressing the checkout paypal button, the Test Buyer can use the Buyer Sandbox Paypal account to make payment. The login details are

WARNING!!! DO NOT use your own paypal account!. If you have one that appears automatically because you’ve previously saved your login details in the browser, change it to this one.
Test Seller
The Test Seller will receive emails to confirm an order has been made and can login to the back end of the website to see the order and change its status as it is processed. For example to ‘Completed’ once it has been dispatched.
The email address used to receive these emails will be agreed between the client and Wrap up Web
The Test Seller has access to a Seller Sandbox Paypal account to see the “money” going into an account. The login details are
