Fraudulent Websites and Email Reports

Reports from Customers of emails from info@idmuk.net requesting domain renewal for domains which are renewable with Wrap up Web only.

These emails are set up for one purpose only and that is to steal customers banking details under the premise they will lose their domains.

If you receive one of these emails…

  1. DO NOT CLICK the ‘View Invoice’ button in the email.
  2. Block the email address info@idmuk.net
  3. Mark the email as SPAM
  4. Delete the email

 

Note that the website https://idmuk.net exists but has been set up to give the impression of ‘legitimacy’ so you will click the button in the email and type in your bank details. 90% of the links in the site do not work and there are no social media channels.

Wrap up Web has reported the site to the National Cyber Security Centre (https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/)
