News

Add ‘News’

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the Add title box type the title of the ‘News’
  4. Click the Set featured image button to either select an existing image from the Media Library or upload a new image to the media library
  5. In the Categories section (to the right of the screen), click the ‘Categories’ drop down arrow to reveal the categories and tick News 
  6. Press the Publish button top right
  7. Click the Edit in Breakdance button
  8. Once in the Breakdance Editor click here for a guide on using and exiting out of the Breakdance Editor
  9. Once you have exited the Breakdance Editor then the Post, refresh the website News page to check the new ‘News’ is displayed

 

Events

Add ‘Event’

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the Add title box type the title of the ‘Event’
  4. Click the Set featured image button to either select an existing image from the Media Library or uploading a new image into the media library
  5. In the Categories section (to the right of the screen), click the ‘Categories’ drop down arrow to reveal the categories and tick Events 
  6. Press the Publish button top right
  7. Click the Edit in Breakdance button
  8. Once in the Breakdance Editor click here for a guide on using and exiting out of the Breakdance Editor
  9. Once you have exited the Breakdance Editor then the Post, refresh the website Events page to check the new ‘Event’ is displayed
 

 

Products

Add ‘Product’

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Products
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the ‘Product Name’ box type the name of the ‘Product
  4. In the ‘Product Description’ box type the description of the ‘Product
  5. Scroll down to the Product Data section and insert the price of the product into the ‘Regular price (£)’ box. Do not add the £ symbol simply insert a number
  6. Scroll back up to the top and on the right hand side of the screen click the Set product image link and either select an existing image from the Media Library or upload a new image from the media library
  7. If required click the Add product gallery images link to either select existing images from the Media Library or upload new images into the media library
  8. In the Product Categories section tick(select) the ‘Categories’ you wish the product to appear under 
  9. Press the Publish button top right
  10. Refresh the website Site Shop page to check the new ‘Product’ is displayed under the correct category/categories

 

Hide/Unhide(not delete) a Product from display

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Products
  2. Hover over the title of the product you wish to hide and click ‘Quick Edit’
  3. Select the status dropdown as ‘Draft’ then click the ‘Update’ button
  4. To display again repeat above changing the status dropdown to ‘Published’

 

Mark a Product as ‘Out of Stock’ (Still displayed)

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Products
  2. Open the product by clicking on the title
  3. Scroll down to the ‘Product Data’ section and select ‘Inventory’
  4. Change the Stock Status to ‘Out of Stock’ to display an ‘Out of Stock’ notice. Click ‘In Stock’ to remove the ‘Out of Stock’ notice.
  5. Scroll back up and click the blue ‘Update’ button

 

Add/Edit ‘Product’ Category

A category wont show in the ‘Site Shop’ page if there are no products in that category or those products in that category are marked as ‘Draft'(Hidden)(see above)

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Products then Categories
  2. Add/Edit the Category name in the ‘Name’ box
  3. Scroll down and click the ‘Add New Category’/’Update’ button

 

Pages

Edit an existing Page

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Pages
  2. Hover over the Page you would like to edit then click the Edit with Breakdance link
  3. Use the Editor to make any changes needed.
