  1. Visit https://glynnuttall.co.uk/wp-login/
  2. Login using the username & password provided by Wrap up Web

Edit the 'Home', 'Our History' or 'Contact us' page

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Pages
  2. Hover over the Home, Our History or Contact Us title then click Edit with Breakdance
  3. Use the Editor to make any changes needed.

Note:
When editing the Our History page note there is a section for picking up History posts please do not edit this

Edit a 'Who We Are'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. A ‘Who We Are’ is categorised as Staff. Hover over the person you want to edit and click Edit  
  3. Edit the Title as required
  4. Replace the image of the person by hovering over the image on the right and selecting Replace then either select or upload a new image using the media library
  5. Scroll down and edit Position as required
  6. Scroll down again and edit Job Description as required
  7. When your changes have been made click the Save button top right
  8. Once saved click the black square top left to return to the post listing
  9. Refresh the front end Who We Are page to see that the staff member has been updated

Add a 'Who We Are'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the Add title box type in the name of the staff member i.e. George Nuttall
  4. In the Categories section to the right of the screen, click the down arrow to reveal the categories and tick Staff 
  5. Add an image of the person by clicking the Set featured image button then either selecting or uploading a new image from the media library
  6. Scroll down and type in a Position
  7. Scroll down again and type in a Job Description
  8. Press the Publish button top right
  9. Once published click the black square top left to return to the post listing
  10. Refresh the front end Who We Are page to see that the new staff member has been added

Edit a 'History'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. A ‘History’ is categorised as History. Hover over the history title you want to edit and click Edit  
  3. Edit the Title as required
  4. Replace the image of the person/s by hovering over the image on the right and selecting Replace then either select or upload a new image using the media library
  5. Scroll down and edit Years as required
  6. Scroll down again and edit Description as required
  7. When your changes have been made click the Save button top right
  8. Once saved click the black square top left to return to the post listing
  9. Refresh the front end Our History page to see that the staff member has been updated

Add a 'History'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the Add title box type in the person/s associated with this history timeline i.e. Glyn & George Nuttall
  4. In the Categories section to the right of the screen, click the down arrow to reveal the categories and tick History 
  5. Add an image of the person/s by clicking the Set featured image button then either selecting or uploading a new image from the media library
  6. Scroll down and type in a Position
  7. Scroll down again and type in a Years i.e. ‘2026- Present’
  8. Press the Publish button top right
  9. Once published click the black square top left to return to the post listing
  10. Refresh the front end Our History page to see that the new staff member has been added

Edit a 'Our Work'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Hover over the ‘Our Work’ title that starts ‘Client:’  and click Edit in Breakdance  
  3. Use the Editor to make any changes needed.

Edit 'Our Work' Service Categories

‘Our Work’ can be categorised in more than one Service category. By categorise them accordingly by Service they will automatically appear under the correct Service on the website. 

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. An ‘Our Work’ title starts with Client:.
  3. To edit the categories hover over the ‘Our Work’ client title you want to edit the categories of and click Edit  
  4. The Categories section is to the right of the screen, click the down arrow to reveal the categories and tick any Service categories required under the parent category Our Work  
  5. When your ‘Our Work’ Service categories have been ticked click the Save button top right
  6. Once saved click the black square top left to return to the post listing

Add a 'Our Work'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the Add title box type the title for this our work i.e. Client: Joe Blogs Engineering
  4. In the Categories section to the right of the screen, click the down arrow to reveal the categories
  5. Tick the Service categories you want this ‘Our Work to display under in the website by selecting those categories under the parent category Our Work.
  6. Add an image that represents the Our Work by clicking the Set featured image button then either selecting an image or uploading a new image from the media library
  7. Click the Yellow Edit with Breakdance button
  8. Use the Editor to add any content required.

Edit a 'News'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. News will be categorised as News
  3. Hover over the ‘News’ title you would like to edit and click Edit in Breakdance  
  4. Use the Editor to make any changes needed.

Add a 'News'

  1. In the admin Dashboard click Posts
  2. Click Add a New Post
  3. In the Add title box type the title for this News i.e. Glyn Nuttall wins a big contract
  4. In the Categories section to the right of the screen, click the down arrow to reveal the categories
  5. Tick the News category
  6. Add an image that represents the ‘News’ by clicking the Set featured image button then either selecting an image or uploading a new image from the media library
  7. Click the Yellow Edit with Breakdance button
  8. Use the Editor to add any content required.

Restore a Page or Post to a previous version if you make a mistake OR click 'Edit' rather than 'Edit in Breakdance'

If you click ‘Edit’ rather than ‘Edit in Breakdance’ all your page or post content will disappear.

Don’t panic, follow the instructions below.

  1. Open the Page or Post in question by clicking its title
  2. Click the yellow ‘Edit in Breakdance’ button
  3. When in the Editor click the 3 dots top right then click ‘History’
  4. Click the ‘Revisions’ tab
  5. Select a version you want to restore
  6. When you see the version display that you want to restore to press the ‘Save’ button
  7. Exit out by pressing the top right ‘X’ then ‘Exit to WordPress’
